Thirty year national and international experience in technical work, as a lawyer and in public service in environmental matters (Environmental Law, Ecological Economics and Political Ecology) for NGOs, public institutions and universities in the US and Costa Rica
Lic. Ruth Solano Vásquez (Of Counsel Advisor)
Finished the coursework for a Master's Degree in Environmental Legislation from the University for International Cooperation and has a JD Degree from the UACA. Six year experience as Head Judge of the MINAE Environmental Administrative Court and more than 30 years as legal advisor and litigator in environmental, administrative and notarial matters in private practice and with NGOs.
Lic. Luis Fernando Fallas Marín (Of Counsel Advisor)
JD in Law degree from the University of Costa Rica. Thirty five years of experience as Legal Advisor, Trial Lawyer and Notary Public with a specialty in labor and criminal matters for public institutions and in the liberal exercise of the profession.
Bach. Bernardo Aguilar Umaña (Of Counsel Advisor)
Bachelor in Education from the UCR. Educator with experience in the design of Environmental Education curricula, English as a second language and facilitation of field education programs for US universities in the NGO sector in Costa Rica. He is currently working as a secondary education educator of the English language.
M.L. Jorge Mora-Portuguez (Of Counsel Advisor)
Masters in Environmental Legislation from the University for International Cooperation, JD and Notary Public from University of Costa Rica. For more than 26 years facilitator, consultant and researcher in processes of citizen participation, human rights, sustainable mobility, integrated management of water resources, watershed management, urban planning and land use planning in Costa Rica, Central America and international.
